Will Turner has been working with the Climate Hazards Group since June of 2013, beginning as an undergraduate intern, and now as a Junior Specialist. Will graduated from UC Santa Barbara in March of 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Geography and Environmental Studies. His projects with the CHG have primarily revolved around rainfall monitoring and crop-water requirement indices. Notably was the implementation of the Water Requirement Satisfaction Index (WRSI) to be used in IDL.
